Private events

The whole room, yours.

Petiscos hosts private events the way it hosts dinner: family-style, unhurried, and done properly. The dining room, the kitchen, and the bar can all be yours for an evening, or for several days straight.

What we host

From boardroom to birthday.

If it deserves a good table, it fits here. The room adapts: seated dinners, standing receptions with passed petiscos, or a mix of both across the evening.

Corporate dinners & conference events

Client dinners, team offsites, and conference-week hosting, minutes from the convention center.

Multi-day takeovers

The room, the kitchen, and the bar reserved for your company across several days. We have done it, and it runs like clockwork.

Celebrations

Birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and the family milestones that deserve a Portuguese table.

Holiday parties

End-of-year dinners with the cocktails flowing and nobody worrying about the kitchen.

The track record

Tech's teams already eat here.

When the big conferences land in San Jose, Petiscos becomes a second dining room for the companies in town. We have hosted teams from NVIDIA and Supermicro, including a joint event that ran across several days, and welcomed technology companies from around the Bay throughout conference season.

The feedback that keeps coming back: the food lands, the room feels like a dinner and not a function, and the details are handled before anyone asks.

A private event here is just Petiscos at full attention: the same kitchen, the same bar, pointed entirely at your guests.

What is included

The kitchen, the bar, the room.

CateringMenus from the Petiscos kitchen

Family-style spreads, passed petiscos, or a seated dinner built from the menu, shaped with you around your guests, your budget, and any dietary needs. The same recipes recognized by the MICHELIN Guide four years running.

Open barThe bar, poured your way

Open bar packages built around the twelve specialty cocktails, the Portuguese cellar, and everything in between, or a tighter beer-and-wine pour if that suits the evening better. Your call, priced clearly in the quote.

The roomSet up around your event

Long tables for one conversation or a standing floor for many, music at the level you want, and the azulejo room dressed for the occasion. For multi-day events, we reset overnight and are ready every morning.

How booking works

Three steps to your evening.

1Tell us the shape of it

Email the date or dates, a rough guest count, and the kind of event. A sentence or two is plenty to start.

2We build your proposal

A menu and bar plan shaped to the event, with a clear quote for the whole evening. We refine it together until it fits.

3Confirm, then arrive

Lock the date and the rest is ours: setup, service, kitchen, bar. You host, we handle everything else.

Weeknights, weekends, full buyouts and partial evenings are all on the table, and conference-season dates go early, so the sooner you write, the better the pick.

Tell us about your event.

One email starts it: the date, the headcount, and what you are celebrating or hosting. A full proposal and quote come back to you.

Event nights

More than dinner.

Petiscos is opening its room to evenings built around making something, not just ordering something. The first one is on the calendar.

Event nights at Petiscos

The dining room is becoming a place to make things, not just order them: a series of small, hosted evenings with art on the table, small plates within reach and Portuguese wine in your glass. Paint and wine evenings lead the way, an evening of baking and decorating your own cake with the family’s bakers follows, and more nights are on the way. Seats are very limited, every time, and each new night is announced first on @petiscosadega.
